Target Circle 360 and Walmart+ look close on price, but they are not trying to win the same kind of shopper.
Choose Target Circle 360 if you want same-day delivery from Target and other local stores, and you like the idea of one membership that covers groceries, pet stores, and nearby retailers through Shipt Marketplace.
Choose Walmart+ if Walmart is already part of your normal weekly routine and you want a membership that is stronger for Walmart grocery delivery, Walmart shipping, fuel savings, and Walmart-specific convenience.
For most people, this is not a “which one has more perks?” question. It is a which one fits how I already shop? question.
The difference in one sentence
Target Circle 360 is usually better for people who want same-day delivery across a broader local-store network.
Walmart+ is usually better for people who want one membership built around a real Walmart habit.
What each membership costs in 2026
Target lists Target Circle 360 at $99 per year or $10.99 per month. Walmart lists Walmart+ at $98 per year or $12.95 per month. Target Circle 360 pricing Walmart+ pricing
So on annual price, they are basically tied. On monthly price, Target Circle 360 is a little lower.
That means the decision is not really about saving one dollar a year. It is about which membership removes more friction from your actual week.
Where Target Circle 360 wins
- Broader same-day delivery network: Target says members get unlimited $35+ same-day delivery from Target and other local stores through Shipt Marketplace.
- No-rush returns: Target says members get an extra 30 days on returns.
- Free 2-day shipping: Target says members get free 2-day shipping on hundreds of thousands of items.
- Monthly freebies: Target Circle 360 includes monthly freebies and exclusive discounts.

Where Walmart+ wins
- Walmart-first grocery value: Walmart+ includes free delivery from your store on eligible orders over $35.
- Free shipping with no order minimum: Walmart says this applies to items sold by Walmart or shipped by Walmart, with exclusions.
- Fuel savings: Walmart says members save 10¢ per gallon at more than 13,000 stations nationwide, with Alabama noted separately at 5¢.
- Streaming benefit: Walmart+ members can choose either Paramount+ Essential or Peacock Premium, both ad-supported, and switch every 90 days.
- In-store convenience: Walmart+ includes Mobile Scan & Go, which matters if you still shop in-store at Walmart regularly.

A big variable on the Target side
If you already have the free Target Circle Card, the math changes.
Target says Circle Card already includes free shipping on Target.com purchases and 30 extra days on returns. It also says Circle Card holders can get the annual Target Circle 360 membership for $49 per year instead of $99.
That means some of Target Circle 360’s headline value may already feel partly covered if you are a loyal Target shopper with the card. In that case, the real reason to pay for Circle 360 becomes much more about same-day delivery, Shipt Marketplace access, and the extra monthly perks.

The real difference most people miss
Target Circle 360 is not just “Target delivery.” It is really a Shipt-powered local delivery network that includes Target plus nearby grocers, pet stores, and other retailers.
Walmart+ is not trying to be that. It is stronger when Walmart itself is already a real part of your life.
So if your problem is “I want one membership that covers more local-store same-day delivery,” Target Circle 360 usually has the clearer edge.
If your problem is “I already buy groceries, basics, and household stuff from Walmart, and I want the strongest Walmart-specific membership,” Walmart+ usually makes more sense.
The hidden friction on both sides
Neither membership is magic.
- Target Circle 360: Target says same-day delivery has a $35 minimum for no delivery fee. Non-members pay $9.99 per order for same-day delivery. In California, Target also notes a CA Shipt Shopper Benefit Fee on same-day delivery orders.
- Walmart+: Walmart says free delivery from store also uses a $35 minimum. If you do not meet it, a $6.99 minimum order fee can apply. Express delivery also carries additional fees.
- Tips can raise the real cost on both sides: Target shoppers can accept tips, and Walmart also lets you add a tip for delivery from your local store. That means repeated same-day or store delivery use can cost more than the membership price alone suggests.

Choose Target Circle 360 if this sounds like you
- You want same-day delivery from more than one type of local store, not just one retailer.
- You already shop at Target often enough that same-day delivery and Shipt Marketplace access would not sit idle.
- You care more about local delivery flexibility than fuel savings or streaming perks.
- You already have a Target Circle Card, which can drop the annual 360 price to $49 and change the value equation in your favor.
Choose Walmart+ if this sounds like you
- Walmart is already your real grocery and household routine.
- You care about fuel savings enough to actually use them.
- You buy a lot of Walmart-sold or Walmart-shipped items and benefit from no-minimum shipping.
- You would actually use the streaming choice or Mobile Scan & Go, not just admire them on paper.
Do you need both?
Usually, no.
Both memberships are trying to save you time, but in slightly different ways. Most people do better by choosing the one that fixed the bigger problem in the last 30 days.
If your main pain is local same-day shopping across different stores, Target Circle 360 is usually the cleaner choice.
If your main pain is Walmart grocery runs, Walmart household restocks, or Walmart shipping, Walmart+ is usually the cleaner choice.
The fastest way to decide in 10 minutes
- Open your last 30 days of Target orders.
- Open your last 30 days of Walmart orders.
- Ask which membership saved you more time in real life, not which one sounds more impressive.
- If one of them disappeared tomorrow and you would barely notice, that is probably the one to cut.
This is not about loyalty. It is about paying for the routine you actually have.
